Built well and runs smoothly. Gives my space the perfect chill
Have only had it for a week but it's working just fine. It's an 8300BTU replacement for an old Kenmore 6,000BTU unit that didn't have a very sensitive thermostat and I needed to constantly get up and adjust the dial.
The unit generally functions well and effectively cools the space. However, when the humidity is above 50% the unit makes persistent and varied clicking sounds, which are very irritating and at times quite loud.
Replace my 10,000btu with this 8500 btu and just as effective.
Fit great on J sleeve wall unit. GE are very reliable AC units!
