Asus VA27DQSB 27" 16:9 Adaptive-Sync Eye Care IPS Monitor

It's a good quality monitor with an eye strain prevention (sort of like "night light mode" on a cell phone) which warms the color. I wish I'd paid a bit more attention to that (I draw for a living) but honestly dragging my work to my second monitor to check that I have my values right isn't so bad.

I have had this monitor for about three years now and it has yet to fail me. I bought it to play PS4 at my desk and it does a great job with it and is a perfect size. I now have it mounted with a long arm mount in my dorm and it survived the drive here and still performs great.

It's excellent for the money, I bought it because I replaced a laptop with a desktop and needed a monitor to replace the laptop screen on the desk. Haven't gamed on it because I have a higher end gaming monitor but it should be decent as long as you don't need over 75hz. Does not overclock.

and it is brighter than the rest of the monitor to the right. i have two of these monitors and i do not have this problem with the second. there is perfectly straight line on the right side of the monitor and everything to the right is a different brightness it seems

This is a decent screen, but it has one setting. You can't change the picture quality or settings. The low-profile stand it comes in looks nice, but is pretty flimsy. When I type on my desk, it wobbles. Unfortunately, its' NOT mountable as the description states. Pay close attention to this.

Just opened it up out of the box. It charges MacBook Pro via USB-C but that's it. Will not act as a monitor. Completely useless.

Very easy to install. Really like that you can use a USB C cable to connect to the laptop. It already comes with HDMI.l cable but wish it had already came with the USB C cable as well. Had to purchase one separately and it works great.

Other than the controls, I really like everything about this monitor. The picture is bright, clear and sharp. Satisfied with my purchase.

20% of my applications do not work. Either the screen fades out to dim, or the screen goes blank and all black. The other applications look great. I can only assume this is a defective unit or I've been sent a used monitor. Will have to mark for return.
