Amazon Echo Studio has a bigger sound and lower price than key rival Sonos One. It's also somewhat less refined but that shouldn't stop it selling well

Best sounding Amazon Echo speaker to date, Support for CD-quality sound, hi-res audio and 3D audio, £10 cheaper than Sonos One

'Ultra HD' and 3D audio are of questionable value, Not the sexiest thing
Amazon attempts to get serious about sound, and the Echo Studio almost delivers Decent spread of sound Clear, precise midrange Hi-res audio support Overcooked bass hampers timing Hit and miss 3D audio
The Amazon Echo Studio is a super-smart speaker with powerful audio, ideal for smart home cinema setups.
Considering that you get good-quality music and plenty of smart features for just $199 is pretty impressive. The Amazon Echo Studio features the high sound quality of a typical midpriced bluetooth speaker but with the bonus of adding an immersive sound layer.
The Amazon Echo Studio is an impressive offering - a smart-speaker and Dolby Atmos immersive sound home cinema unit, all in one tidy package. Some of its experiments with upmixing stereo sources can sound a bit confused, but it's otherwise a very powerful, feature-rich smart speaker – especially...

Larger than your average Echo, 3D audio is a mixed bag
Amazon Echo Studio: The Echo Studio offers a unique feature set and a big sound that belies its relatively small size

Big, bold sound, Very well priced, Excellent connectivity options

Sound is bass-heavy, Lacks some detail in mid-range, No remote for volume controls
“This speaker takes the Echo brand's audio quality to a whole new level.”
Amazon's best-sounding Echo device outputs giant sound and makes any room a sound room.
Is it the best sounding Echo speaker? Yes. Is it the best sounding smart speaker? Yes. Period. At the time of filing this review, the Echo Studio is clearly among the best sounding smart speakers out there. With a price tag of Rs 22,999, it doesn’t really burn a hole in your pockets either.
Obviously, the quality of music you’re going to get from a tiny Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker is, well, limited. But there’s now a big Echo bruiser in the Amazon family, the Amazon Echo Studio. The $329 speaker Echo Studio is still fairly compact. It’s a 175mm diameter cylinder standing on an end.

Lacks access to things like TIDAL and Amazon Music HD which are available in the US
I didn't like it and went to return it, but because I opened the box they refused to accept the return, despite this being against consumer protection law and despite it being one in the UK's biggest companies, I had this for a few days and using Alexa was painful whenever there was noise and...
Massively better sound than the other Echo devices. Paired up to my 4k Max Firestick it really does make movies sound amazing. Not really sure the 3D music works that well, but the clarity of sound is fab.
Small device large sound!!
Great sound when paired with another echo studio and a sub woofer
As a double bass player I was expecting the usual horrobly over emphasised bass thar most consumer audio equipment suffers from. But it's actually not to bad after all. I've just turned the bass down a single notch and my eclectic collection of flac encoded music sounds OK.
Great speaker excellent sound quality very good indeed recommend it completely
Although compact in design the sound quality is remarkably good. It adjusts to the acoustics of any room it is placed in. It has a good bass range which gives body to the music being listened to.
This Alexa was 4 to 5 times the price of my previous Amazon Echos. They still work brilliantly, this one won’t link to BBC Radio, doesn’t understand basic questions, is a complete waste of money. Have gone back to our old Echos
Loved the great sound and Alexa integration Not able to connect other devices if used as a home cinema system. I wanted to connect my PS4 and HTPC. Note - 2 x Echo studios, 1 x Echo sub and FireTV cube
I just needed a descent speaker looked at a few. My house runs on alexa so opted for the studio great speaker increase the base and the sound in brill
