The iPad Pro 10.5 is Apple's second generation of the Pro-series. The screen is definitely the star of the show. It has not only grown in size, but it also offers 120 Hz, HDR and claims coverage of the P3 color space.

very good display, fast Wi-Fi, additional Apple SIM (LTE-versions only), speedy SoC, decent speakers, good battery runtimes
-

no support for Galileo GNSS, pressure-sensitive case, one-year warranty only, display does not support P3 despite claims, slower memory than predecessor, long charging times
Apple’s latest iPad Pro is the best tablet you can buy. It excels in nearly every category, remains a fantastic tool for artists, and continues to define the tablet market. If you’re looking for a tablet for entertainment and media consumption, you’re probably better off with the new iPad , which...

Pricey, No fast charging
After the 9.7-inch iPad Pro scored a 4.5 , the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro deservedly brings that score to a perfect 5 out of 5. The 12.9-inch model sacrifices way too much in the way of portability and versatility and the 2017 iPad is just a little too pedestrian.

Bigger display without sacrificing portability, 512GB storage capacity make it a real MacBook alternative, ProMotion helps both display responsiveness and battery life, Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil redefine the iPad experience, 4GB of RAM make for top-class performance
The 2017 Apple iPad with its 10.5-inch display delivers. Period. It’s got a premium and solid build with almost the same heft as its smaller predecessor, has a gorgeous and feature-laden display, powerful speakers, and definitely more capable internals.

Device gets hot over time
Last year, we gave the 9.7-inch iPad Pro a score of four out of five. Some of our issues with that release —2 gigabytes of RAM, a USB 2 speed Lightning port —have been addressed. Our concerns about the price not only remain, but have been amplified.

What is the optimal size for an iPad? Is it 9.7 inches? 7.9? Maybe 12.9 is the right size? No, the new sweet spot is 10.5 inches. That’s the new in-betweener size Apple come up with for its latest iPad Pro, which replaces the 9.7-inch model introduced a little over a year ago.
Starting at £619 for 64GB and running to £889 for 512GB, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is a big step up in price over the tablet it replaces. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro cost £499 for the 32GB model and £599 for the 128GB model; this one is £20 more expensive for a tablet with half the storage.

The truth is that I've been loving the 10.5-inch iPad Pro since I opened the box. It's a fantastic device, and it's actually a wonderful 2-in-1, and I know that there will be a lot of people that aren't happy to hear that.

Overpowered for iOS 10, Not quite close to replacing your laptop
Wow, this is the best iOS device I ever used. Amazing iPad Pro2! Nice screen, speakers, camera, build quality. Love it!
I have had nearly ever iPad ever produced. And most of those have been cellular models. This is the best one I’ve ever used. I use it extensively for work -writing estimates, sketching houses, and using proprietary apps, and it performs flawlessly -and you can’t beat an always on LTE connection.
This tablet was awesome. If you are in the market for abbey tablet I recommend this one with the Apple Pencil. I only returned it because I have the previous 12.9 pro on my Verizon plan. This is the PERFECT SIZE!
Recommended and is as advertised. Very easy to set up.
Okay let's get the one bad thing out of the way first. This is an Apple device so it's expensive. Moving on...But it's just so good. The improvement to the frame rate are very noticeable to anyone used to a device from early generations, it's ridiculously fast and responsive.
Wanted it for a replacement for my IPad mini and it is perfect.I can see the screen outside in bright sunlight easily. The transfer over of my data etc was straight forward and I love the extra screen size. I have all my books and am going to get my magazine subscription set up .
It was time to replace the ipad for a new one and this latest addition suited us, even if the price is at the higher end of the scale. Lovely piece of kit and needless to say a huge change from the older one (as it should be).
It's good but will it still be so when Apple have abandoned supporting it?
It might be called Pro but it is just another iPad that is a slightly better spec. It is quicker than the Air 2 and has a really nice screen, but again it is just another iPad.
All you would expect from an iPad, fantastic build quality, great features. Designed for the new operating system due later this year. The new 10.5 inch screen is excellent, with the overall size being just slightly larger than the previous 9 inch screen model.
