Audio-Technica AT2035 Cardioid Condenser Side-Address Microphone

The AT2035 has good features for the price, sturdy construction and a fairly flat, clear sound. On the right vocalist it sounds great, but it will not suit all types of singers.

Worth the upgrade from the AT2020. For the amount you would spend on a shock mount this was an easy buy. The padding switch will cut out most background noise (except air conditioning noise).

I was a little bit hessitant about this Mic since I have always used Shure or Sennheiser, thought that it might not fullfill my at least requirements, but it was a great surprise when the AT2035 went beyond my expectations, the sound is crystal clear when using it on a Behringer Mixer or a Zoom H4N...

This microphone has a solid metal build that feels like it can take a beating, it's low noise, the omni- derectional response is great, I barely hear background noise(keep gain low) in very unideal rooms.

Purchase for O/H on drums in live setting. Working better than expected. Clean full sound without much bleed.

For the price I cannot believe the performance. Smooth response and - very important - low self-noise. The AT2035 compares favorably to other more expensive mics in our fleet (Heil PR40, Sennheiser 421) and outperforms others in its price range.

I like the AT2035 Mic I purchased. It works well for our broadcast studio application and at a very reasonable price.

I use it for voiceovers and it works great for my needs! Important to use a pop filter with it, but I think that's standard for any mic like this.
