Been using this for acoustic recording at home, just simple singer songwriter stuff and it picks up what I need it to wonderfully. It's is also versatile for recording use with my Metal band Nephilim Rising.

Easy To Use, Good Audio, Versatile
This is an excellent mic for the money and is typical of my experience with AT mics. It has a fairly flat, nice full, clean response and does not have the brittle high end of many mics in this price range. Very good sound.
amazing! loved it easy to use and get a good sound out of, breathes, clear, warm...... For the price its hard to beat.
This is a static condenser microphone. Frequency response: 20-20 000 Hz High-pass filter: 80 Hz, 12 dB / octave
The AT2050 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone; it has a 10 dB pad and more than one pickup pattern on it. The most recent instrument that I have used this microphone with was a great piano. Now it didn’t sound like the best microphone but it still sounded pretty good for 200 dollars.
The advantage of this model (and at this price) is that it offers three directional: omni, cardio and figure 8. It can collect high sound pressure levels through the attenuator, and remains a sensitive microphone.
type of microphone? MAINLY I use for voice technology? a transistor OVERALL OPINION How long? 8 months
