I have to say, this is probably one of my best purchases of the year. Everything about the Azden Pro-XD is what I’ve been looking for. I want small and compact size – Check. I want light-weight – Check. I want headphone-out for monitoring – Check.

Quality of the included lavalier mic is average. It’s OK, but we recommend to swap it with a better one.
Weve had this unit for several months and used it mainly outdoors. Ive not been able to figure out a work-around to reduce the number of drop outs, yet. The audio is good with the mic it came with, the signal is strong and tone is pretty good. When it works, it sounds really good.
Great inexpensive mic system. I do beach weddings and vow renewals, have used the mics on three events and XD worked without any problems. That said the included mic does not have the greatest range, if you using where vocal or music is very important I would get a upgraded mic.
Good, slim design for both transmitter and receiver. Very straightforward to use and the addition of an aux input on the transmitter allows for some flexible usage scenarios. I've only used it for a quick field interview so far with the speaker about 10 feet from the camera/receiver.
I will go ahead and say that this is my first wireless lav system, and I only used it on one shoot as I just received it. Although it's only been used once, this unit is solid. It's way smaller than I thought it would be, which is great.
I am using this wireless set up now and what a savings of time and effort. No more wires, taping down, clean up, etc. My projects are fairly close (in convention breakout rooms) so I don't need an expensive long distance wireless system. This is just what I need.
Operated fine. I didnt expect long range and thought it would be useful for short distance setups. However, the noise floor is so high as to make the audio unusable in most environments.
The audio drops a lot.. especially in busy environments with lots of people and devices interfereing with the signal. Even when in an open lot with nothing around it still drops.
Just can't be counted on to go for very long without dropouts occurring; even in a simple interview if you have any wi-fi signals in the area at all.
Used several times and noticed some cut out on the sound. Clean audio if subject isn't moving.
I think this is my best purchased in BH Video..I bought it cheap in their Dealzone for only $119.99.The product is second to none. You don't get wrong with PRO-XD.
