We see the BenQ GW2765HT as an attempt to incorporate an IPS monitor, a gaming monitor and a low price, all at the same time. But it may not have succeeded on all terms. Sure, the display is great, colours, resolution, contrast and brightness do not let us down and although the 4ms response time may...
Given the price and all-round good performance of the GW2765HT, it’s certainly appears to be a great monitor. All the right boxes are ticked, the picture quality is great, it’s adequate for gaming and it has a good stand, well designed OSD and a wide range of inputs.

Good price for WQHD resolution IPS panel., Good brightness and colour accuracy., Flexible, adjustable stand.

Our sample suffered from backlight bleed., Poor contrast ratio., Glossy plastic bezel isn’t out first choice for monitor design.
For under £300 you can’t go too wrong, so the BenQ GW2765HT has been awarded a well-earned 9/10 and our “Great Value” award.

Reasonably priced at around £285, Very vivid colours, Incredible display quality thanks to Quad HD, Great features (blue light / flicker-free technology), Fairly portable / ease to move, Good build quality, Easily adjustable viewing angles thanks to solid arm

Settings panel a bit of a nightmare due to button placement, Another HDMI port would enable users to hook up a couple of devices without having to switch cables all the time
This 27-inch screen's bigger than its competitors – but more expensive, too

Good contrast and colour accuracy, Consistent screen quality, Versatile stand design

No USB ports, Specialised screens excel elsewhere, Pricier than rivals
Cheap with good image quality, the BenQ GW2765HT brings WQHD resolution and IPS quality to a new, low price
Replaced a 23 1080 monitor with this one and paired it with another 23 1080 monitor. NO trouble running different size and resolutions together. For the price of this BenQ, it was well worth the upgrade. Crystal clear, accurate bright color screen. I cannot wait for the other 23 monitor to die.
if you're having color issues, Google the monitor model number with the word "calibration ". someone has calibrated this monitor and posted the setting.

Sometimes it will think there's no cable attach between it & the graphic card (gtx 1070) & will not display & is useless until it realizes there's a connection. This doesn't occur too often.
Great monitor! Allows for DVI input, which I needed to have compatibility with my 7-year-old MBP. In that setup, I had to use a dual-link DVI adapter, and a dual-link DVI cable. I now have 1440p on my [this] external monitor, and I'm very pleased.
I head that Benq was a good monitor for editing photos and so far this monitor performs great. I was surprised to see in the box, not just a VGA cable but both HDMI and DP cables and to me this is something that so many manufactures just leave out.
i havent tried out the speakers since i have my own speakers but you dont buy a monitor for the speakers

the buttons are in a weird spot
Ive been using this monitor for 5 days now and it works great. At first I was disappointed with the screen but after 15m of messing around with the color calibration it looks great. The DP cable works fine for me too, I'm seeing a lot of complains about that.
I bought this for photo editing. I did calibrate it with a Spyder Pro, but the result was almost identical to the factory calibration. The panel seems great, with great color reproduction, etc.
The menu buttons are somewhat tricky to use as they are on the back of the monitor, but I will rarely be using them anyway so its not a con.

Beautiful, vibrant colours, absolutely 0 backlight bleed, amazing viewing angles, fully adjustable stand, 1440p gives you sooo much real estate.

The monitor is absolutely amazing. I bought the GW2765 27inch IPS 1440p.I was going back and forth between this and 144hz 1080p for weeks, IPS and TN. Finally settled here and I couldn't be happier. As an avid PC gamer, it was time for an upgrade.
Great monitor so far. The colors are great and it supports 10-bit color (not quite HDR, but close enough) which really makes games pop. I love the fact that the height is adjustable. My only real complaint, and the reason it is 4 instead of 5 stars, is the placement of the menu buttons.
