I bought this with a Benro tripod to hold my Nikon 7500 and a Nikon 300 to 500 mm lens with teleconverter as well as my Sony video camera. Works well for my purposes. The only thing that I wish it had is a lighted level like my BV4H has. A small maglite works when I need it.
I was impressed with the level of professionalism on this item from the bag to the head and levels of adjustment on it. the only thing that might be a hindrance is the legs as they will fall if you do not tighten them really tight. But Benro Lets go is a great company
Bought the BV8H on spec as I couldnt find much feedback on it. Got it in the kit with the C373T carbon sticks. I think its great. Sticks are solid and the fluid head is smooth. Using it for video with my Panasonic FZ2500 at the moment but had intended to match it with a Panasonic HC-X1.
I snagged this on a sale and it might be overkill for my setup but the deal was too good. The tripod isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. The pan and tilt customization is great and very smooth. The tripod also looks sleek if that matters to you.
I thought i do a review for this one since there was nothing here when i toke a chance and ordered mine. I was originally looking at the one with the S8 head but after trying at a store i noticed way too much flex on the legs when all the way up.
