Nearly everyone in pro-audio has heard of Beyerdynamic and has come to expect great things when it comes to their audio gear and headphones. One of the most alluring products from Beyerdynamic is the DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm headphone because of it’s under $200 price tag.

The closed DT 770 comes with a built-in limiter and, according to the manufacturer, is primarily intended for DJs and live use.

I highly recommend these headphones to anybody. I'm very happy with the purchase and can't find anything to fault them.

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Studio and Pro are studio-ready headphones with an approachable price tag. Sound is incredibly rich and balanced, and build quality is good for the price. The branding is confusing, however, and we would have liked to see a removable cable.

Purchased for circumaural use, very comfortable and pleasant sound. Only two drawbacks: the cable protection is very thin, which can cause sound problems with other equipment next to it. The size adjustment system, although functional, is not very good quality.

For quite a long time, I was looking for a good pair of wired headphones just for listening music and etc. with my desktop computer at home. These have a great sound, they are very comfortable, and they do not have any useless extra features like the more expensive ones with comparable sound quality...

Excellent set of headsets for recording vocals and mixing in any studio! The comfort of this pair is unmatched with many other brands I have tried in the past. You get the best of both worlds sonically between the low end, and the higher frequencies to easily address any sibilance issues throughout...

I know there are other headphones specifically for "gaming" but this pair of headphones have the basics down. Coupled with a Creative Soundblaster X3, these headphones provide great and clear sound, as well as incredibly precise audio cues for FPS and a great sound profile overall for other games...

If you are looking for new headphones for your personal studio. Take a look at the Beyerdynamics DT-770 Pro 250 Ohm Closed-back has a reputation for producing "I'm sitting inside a box sound" than open-back variety. Yet there are often advantages to a certain degree of acoustic isolation.

The first thing you notice about these headphones are that they are very bulky - this is not a problem as I will principally be using them for studio applications. When I put these on I found that they are extremely comfy, probably the most comfy headphones I have worn.

I recommend these headphones, the sound level is top notch, and the quality and comfort in my ears are a delight. In short, I'm switching from a Logitech G733 to the Beyerdinamic DT770 Pro 80ohms and I'm extremely satisfied.

If you want to experience not being able to tell if someone is knocking on your door or if it is just the video your watching, buy these headphones. They have insane soundstage and plenty of bass to go around for days.
