Bosch 500 Series 30" Stainless Steel Electric Single Wall Oven - Convection

Found this Bosch oven to replace our old, dependable wall oven! The new oven is simple to use, and looks great in our kitchen. We opted for basic functions without lots of unnecessary options. We love it. The only downside is how long it takes to preheat but this seems to be the norm in ovens today.

It looks nice and is nice and simple but there are certainly a few issues. The timer setting interface is very annoying because you have to press the plus button many times slowly to get to the right amount of time and if you press it too fast it just keeps going up to a higher number.

Have only had this installed a few weeks, but so far am really happy. Seems well made, and it's easy to use for basic functions without having to read the manual. Baking seems true to temp and even. Does take a while to heat up, but no different from other ovens I've had in the past.

I heartily agree with the other reviewers about this oven's timer mechanism ! It is simply bad ! I bought this oven because of the brand's reputation, and the model HBL545 has knobs rather than the touch pads to set the temperature and cooking mode.

Using the timer is a total hassle. The button requires so much pressure and then it flies forward past where you want to set it. Then u spend time trying to go back to the minutes you want. Sorry, but if using a timer for oven or other cooking, this feature is a weak link in the product.

The oven looks great, period. If aesthetics are important to you, then this is the one for the price. I will say it takes a little while to heat up compared to my previous gas oven, and the double dials are a little confusing. But all in all it's a good oven.

My biggest concern with the unit was fan noise, however this oven is quieter than any other I have found. So that is a positive. Otherwise the unit has functions well with the exception of the following: The timer is virtually useless as it does not respond to touch and overshoots the desired...

This oven was bought as a replacement to an old GE profile wall oven, and it has been a wonderful experience using it. The purchase, installation, etc. was great, as it fit correctly in the space that the older oven occupied, and the SS finish makes it look great in the cabinet space, and the...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how my dishes cook in this oven. I've noticed that I don't have to cook as long as I had to with old oven. I like the options, still trying to figure out the bread proofing. The ONLY thing I dislike is how difficult it is to use the timer.
