Bosch 500 Series 30" Stainless Steel Electric Double Wall Oven

Had to choose sight unseen due to long ship times, so we went with Bosch to match the rest of the kitchen. Controls feel cheap and plasticky, preheat time is long with no display of current temp, and the temp keypad is frustrating and hard to set.

This model is simple to use--it has no convection oven or other gigaws. This is an appliance for the cook who doesn't need to turn it on via cell telephone. In other words it is a "stripper" and I love it.

Looks great and instructions were very straight forward on dimensions. The directions tell you that you will need three strong people to help and this is not an exaggeration. Appears to be very well made, I will add or change comments as we us it in our family. Before and after pics...

Decided to get all Bosch appliances for our kitchen remodel. These ovens don't disappoint. Preheating doesn't take too long, and temperatures check out accurately. Easy to wipe clean, and we really like the combination of both knobs and digital operation/display.

I am very please with the simplicity of this oven, which was my goal. It is sleek with more dark glass than stainless steel. The only suprise is that is does not have the convection feature. Whoops. Not adeal breaker for me but, I wish I had been advised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty to look at, more interior space than our previous Bosch. Quiet! Wish the bottom grate came as telescope like my last one, door is so big to lean over. Big problem setting time/temp with +/-, it overshoots easily, very hard to control.

I was hesitant with certain Bosch appliances I purchased, based on reviews, but this oven has been working great and looks lovely. It's "bare bones", but I don't mind, as it makes it very easy to use. I don't need extra fancy computerized stuff that will just break!
