Broan E6036SS Elite Series 36 Inch Pro Style Wall Mount Convertible Hood

I bought this range hood to replace a new one that did not work good enough. When I stir fried on my Bluestar Gas Stove the whole house filled up with smoke and grease even though my hood was on high. I knew I needed something way more powerful.

Very powerful, industrial type hood. At the max setting, it takes few min to get rid of all indoor air. As it has a powerful fan, the unit is LOUD. After 7 years of use, lot of crud and polymerized oil had caked the blower wheels and blades that destroyed the motor bearing.

This wasn't my first choice for our newly designed kitchen but I have to say it looks great. Pulls everything out of the air more efficiently than any other vent hood I've ever had. It's a bit louder than I expected but not a problem.

The hood itself is just ok. It cost a lot of money and in addition you have to spend $200 for a duct recycling kit that is nothing more than a piece of metal with 2 charcoal filters and covers. Talk about profit.
