Broan E6436SS Elite Series 36 Inch Pro Style Under Cabinet Convertible Hood

I got the E6430SS to replace the stock microwave/hood combo that came with my condo. Bottom line, it is superior to a microwave/hood combo that came with my condo. It does work at venting out smoke and cooking smells efficiently.

Great exhaust fan. The lights are really bright, once you buy the bulbs! The fan is highly adjustable. You can have a nice quiet suction or a very strong one that shows as if an airplane is taking off. Works great for all needs!

I bought this a few months ago and thought it was a lot quieter than it really is. I can't hear myself think with this thing on. Also, it did not come with lights and trying to find exactly which one to buy has been fruitless.

The good -Hood works well. Wish it were less noisy, but at least it works. The bad - As noted by a previous reviewer, installation of the halogen light bulbs is a nightmare. You have to buy them separately.

I am a retired professional chef (30+ years), so I am accustomed to working in a commercial kitchen. This range hood-fan-light combo is a workhorse, and it's beautiful. The fan is really powerful, the level is easy to adjust as needed, and we really like the 2-option light (low, high).

I have been searching for a large quiet fan and this one is just that. It's vented to the outside and works great. The halogen lights are nice and bright. The stainless top is designed beautifully. Highly recommend this range hood.

A beautiful, functional work of art! The bulbs are a bit difficult to install, but once you get one in, it gets a bit easier (because you know it will go in!). The powerful motor pulls all grease and smoke smells efficiently out of the kitchen.

I purchased the Broan Elite E6436SS for our kitchen remodel. I compared price vs. features with other models before making a decision. We like the clean, sleek and simple appearance of this hood. The blower is infinitly variable and has tremendous suction.

It is working as expected, but there are a few drawbacks: (1) It is a bit noisy; (2) The knobs for turning on the light and for adjusting the fan speed should be in different shape, so that they won't be confused easily.

Talk about a beautiful, high-end piece of workmanship! This is it. It added immeasurable value to our kitchen!
