This is the essential and fantastic standard zoom lens. Super sharp, fast and great rendering. My only quibble is the AF/MF and stabilization switches are very easy to move. They don't have the same firmness as my other RF lenses, and I have found my lens inadvertently switched to no stabilization...

This is a great lens worthy of professional photography with professional results. It specs out great on paper but in the field it gives fantastic results.

I'm lucky to receive the lens quite early. Stabilization is quite good! Especially with the internal digital stabilization. Ideal for a photographer and videographer like me! While I haven’t had the chance to test this lens as much as the other trinity glass, I’ve loved what I’ve gotten from it. Just a terrific all around general zoom lens. Fast AF, sharp images and a size/weight that feels comfortable for prolonged use.

This is a very sharp lens. It focuses exceptionally fast, much quicker than I was expecting. I used it at a wedding along on an EOS R. Alongside it I had the 1DXii and the EF 24-70Lii. The RF lens moved across the focal range noticeably quicker and tracked excellently.
