Creates deal-breaking static mess. A bargain price for a burr grinder, but delivers a quality of grind inferior to a blade grinder that's much cheaper and easier to use
This machine grinds coffee inconsistently,,,I tried different levels ,it doesn't grind fine for espresso,,the finest is still not good for espresso , the plastic jar container underneath has a lid and is not very easy to use ,,This grinder is ok for the price if you are using drip coffee machine and...
It grinds whole coffee beans. The automatic setting is off for my coffee maker. I like 57-60 grams of coffer for 8 cup pot this grinder when set at 8 gives me around half that amount. Ground coffee sticks to the plastic ground catcher need to use the brush to get all the coffee out.
I have had a Cuisinart Supreme Automatic Burr Mill for 3 years and use it frequently. It has several settings to determine the grind level desired which allows the user to grind coffee beans for automatic coffee makers or a French press.
I've only had to use this on two occasions. I grind a couples weeks coffee at a time. The machine performs fine, as expected. As others mentioned, static is an issue. I have experienced the static problem with my previous (different brand) machine.
Pros: Stylish, Consistent Grind, Reliable, Easy To UseCons: NoisyOther thoughts: I use this DBM-8 when doing a fine grind for my reusable coffee container for my Keurig coffee maker. I enjoy the different settings with the DBM-8, so easy to use.
If you enjoy fresh-ground coffee each morning, the Cuisinart DBM-8 serves its purpose.

We use it everyday and don’t go out to get coffee anymore as we prefer our own ! It takes some tries to find the grinding level to your taste but once found it’s really convenient and quick ! The only thing I would criticize would be the noise maybe.
I had one of the smaller grinders and it was always guess work getting the right amount and grind. Then you would make a mess putting the coffee in the reusable Keurig pods. This let's you put up to a 1/2 lb into the hopper but grind only the amount you need however fine or coarse you want it
