DJI Mavic Mini

On one hand, the Mavic Mini is the perfect beginner’s drone. It’s tiny and lightweight, enabling it to fly under the thresholds for certain regulatory restrictions, has approaching 30 minutes of flight time, while also shooting 2.7K footage – and the quality of that footage is quite good.

When we went hands on with the Osmo Mobile 3 from DJI, we walked away impressed, so when we were given the Mavic Mini to try out, we were intrigued. Could this tiny, portable drone match the Osmo in build quality and overall desirability?

The DJI Mavic Mini is a lightweight drone that you don't have to register, but spotty connectivity makes it hard to recommend wholeheartedly.

  Low cost of entry. Includes remote control. Excellent battery life. Crisp 2.7K video and 12MP photos. Gimbal stabilization. Automated cinematic camera movements. Find My Drone feature. Doesn't require federal registration.

  Some connectivity issues in testing. Omits obstacle detection sensors. No 24fps video option. Doesn't support Raw or HDR images.

Everything about this drone is amazing. Price is also excellent for what you get. Highly recommend to anyone who is interested in purchasing a flawless drone. I prefer it over my DJI phantom standard drone. The carry case makes it portable to fly it almost anywhere , anytime !

25 min battery life, 3 way gimbal and huge flying range are all killer features. Build quality and overall user experience is great and the option to get cheap insurance direct from DJI for crashes is excellent.

Very easy to use, compact and still takes great quality pictures and video.

First drone owner, was shopping around for a while and I decided to start with something small and what fit my budget !! I got the dji mavic mini and all I can say is wow, the quality the features were amazing flies great even in small winds and camera quality is insane !!

So much easier to fly than your cheap no name drones. Very happy with the flight time and the capabilities of this drone.

It's an amazing drone so stable..flys long distances, good video quality, quiet too much to list, it's a good buy trust me, I was hooked after the first flight.

Product is great would be nice if you sold more accessories for it like more batterys or a case ect

This is a great drone for beginners and experienced pilots. It is quick and agile and has great video quality. The flight time is very good for a drone this size.
