The Dell UltraSharp UP3218 is an absolutely stunning monitor that combines incredibly high resolutions with gorgeous colors. It’s also very expensive, and for most people the advanced features will go to waste. Still, it’s an impressive sign of where monitors are heading.

It’s like being in the future, I can’t even share screenshots with people because the average display isn’t at this level yet so owning this does come with some inclusion. It’s being powered by 2 1080Ti Hybrid with the SC2 Trim.

The 8K display is a brilliant feat of engineering, and definitely "best in show" when it comes to monitors. As an early adopter (I pre-ordered the display in 2017), I was not expecting perfection.
I made this purchase a few mos. ago... Let`s get past the price-it nails perfection, and I hit 200 FPS immediately. Need I go on...
I sold my 1 room apartment i shared with 2 other families in order to buy this. But it was worth it. The children stop crying when we watch some movies in 8k so its good.
When I got this monitor it didn’t power up straight from the box. Dell sent a replacement and this time it powered up but in less than five minutes a line appeared vertical on the screen which was permanent: dead pixels. I’m returning it and asking for a refund.The resolution looked amazing.
Same thing happened to me Marc. The first unit I received did not power up. The replacement they sent me worked really good for about 5 minutes and then I got a vertical line as well. I also had the back light glow as well on the corners! I sent both back. I was disappointing.
