  Plenty of 4K capable inputs, flexible speaker configuration, outstanding sound.

  Runs a bit warm - so leave room for ventilation, EQ setup takes some time - but it's worth it, feel like a receiver in this price range could have a nicer remote.

The unit was relatively easy to set up and the sound is good. The sound is clear not at all muddy. I am a bit concerned that the comfortable listening volume is about 60-65. That is higher than i would prefer so i wonder if i really should have gotten a more powerful unit.

Great receiver. My 3rd Denon and each has been superb. The 4400 provides 9 channels of clean audio power, inputs to satisfy almost any need, and is as close to future proof as any A/V device can be in this rapidly changing world. Setup is straightforward and I was up and running within minutes.

This is a very versatile receiver with all the connections you could want. Video is superb and audio with multi channel is outstanding. With the move to 4K HDR tv and high definition music, this receiver can handle it all.

I purchased the AVR-X4400H for Christmas to replace an aging AVR-987. The improvement is sound quality once set up was noticeable. Generally I am really pleased and can control most functions and play music from my iPhone which is a plus in convenience.

Purchased this receiver just before Christmas and it was a dream to configure to my liking. My last receiver of another brand took me almost a week of fooling around to get the inputs and outputs properly configured and this one took two days tops.

I recently bought a flagship Sony XBR75Z9D. M y older Denon 3313ci did not have HDCP2.2, and would only pass video through at 1080p, so I got the new X440H for 4K HDR, enhanced HDMI, and Dolby Atmos.
