I have a bad back, and using a normal vacuum kills my back and I have to stop after just one room/area. With this Dyson, I am able to do the entire house without any pain to my back - you are standing upright and not dragging a cord around with you, is easy to use on stairs, does a good job.

The Dyson V12 is just what I needed. After years of corded vacuums, this machine makes light of housekeeping. The slim is very lightweight. Several attachments included that are easy to interchange. The laser light the the fluffy bare floor attachment lets me see where all debris and dog hair is.

I find that I vacuum more since I can just grab it & go. I don't have to drag out my super long hose for my whole house vacuum. The laser technology is definitely not a gimmick, it shows bust bunnies & hairs in the corners of the stairs. I do see the particle counter as a gimmick though.

I'm not going to lie I was skeptical about this vacuum mostly about the price but let me tell you this vacuum is worth every penny I spent on it. I use this vacuum for quick cleans, throw rugs and touch ups in the car. I'm truly impressed with what this vacuum will do.

I love the mechanics and features of this machine, the on-off button, and 5.2 pounds. Powerful, quiet, and easy to manipulate @ 5.2 pounds with various well-thought-out accessories! Con: OMG is so ugly; it amused me first; Was I wrong!

Bought this to replace a much older Dyson model. Haven't used all the attachments yet, but with a kitty, have found the laser head, motorbar head and hair screw tool most useful. Also, love not having to hold a button to keep it running.

Love everything about it, but could use a non slip handle. Hand slides up as you grip the handle and push and pull the machine.
