I don't do a whole lot of baking/roasting but did like the convection feature on this model. Few months after using the range, burners would not start (intermittent issue) which would resolve by itself but was annoying because I had to re-arrange pots based on what was working.Top is very easy to...
Beautiful range. Both oven and top grills are a joy to use as well as digital controls. The high power burner and low flame burner are both great. There are some issues. S. Steel looks great clean but shows every spill and needs constant cleaning to restore it's looks.
This is part of my new kitchen project and installed December 2011. I can understand the installation challenges but fortunately, my designer new that my 30" range actually needed 32" of space so the installation went smoothly (the 30" measurement fooled my contractor).
Before you buy: Google "Electrolux self-clean = die". You will learn that for the last 10 years there has been a problem Electrolux has refused to fix. When you use the self-clean cycle a thermal switch shuts the oven down until you have a $94 service call to reset it.
I own this range for 8 months now at my new kitchen. After about 5 months of normal use the blue seven-segment digital numbers below the electronic touch pad that show the temperature started losing segments, so numbers partially show.
Some things are great, that 400-18,000 btu burner is brilliant, no more burned sauces. However, installation is a nightmare. We did it ourselves and that was a big mistake. 1)You are not supposed to lift it by the cook top but there is NO other place to grab it.
This range has been an expensive disaster. Mine is 2 1/2 years old. The reviewer who said the circuit board is not ready for prime time hit the nail on the head. The timer on mine never seemed to work but I was busy and just lived with it. Lesson learned.
This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer, probably because its extensive digital technology is damaged by heat, a point apparently overlooked by the stove’s architects, since the primary job of a stove is, after all, to produce heat.
We purchased this stove to replace a KichenAid that the oven touch controller had quit working (could not order part as stove was 8 yrs old...parts only available for 7 years). We purchased a high end stove thinking it would last ultimately longer than one of the $1300-$1600 models.

Low quality, damaged, drawer incompat
This range appears excellent; it works well (when it works), appears to be efficient, and could be really impressive, BUT it is completely dependent on digital technology, technology that clearly isn't ready for wide release.
