If you like the Strat sound, these Am Stds are very tough to top, IMO. Bright, clear, clean and snappy through my Super Sonic 22's clean channel. Fat 50s PUs are somewhat higher output, so seem a little warmer, maybe less piercing than vintage style PUs.
