The Fitbit Charge 6 has made some nice improvements this year, mostly in the category of usability and ease of use. Be it bringing back the button, or simply making all 40 sports/excercise modes immediately accessible – those are small but nice quality of life improvements.
The Fitbit Charge 6 is an unobtrusive fitness band with a wide spread of features. It has an ECG heart health reader and full GPS, making it second only to the Fitbit Sense 2 in some ways.
-
+
+ Feature-packed for a fitness band, + Decent battery life, + Can relay your heart rate to some gym equipment
-
-
Severely flaky GPS, No altimeter, Heart rate accuracy not the best
The Fitbit Charge 6 is a great fitness tracker with useful smarts, though ultimately it lacks the accuracy needed for sports tracking
-
+
Great activity and health tracking, Comfortable and sleek design, Useful smart features, Long battery life
-
-
Poor HR and GPS accuracy, Only works with YouTube Music
Still the best fitness tracker
-
+

-
-
No Spotify controls, No app store, Some metrics require a Premium subscription
Good product but it's very hard to sync even with a Google Pixel, the same brand and system for Fitbit. If you don't have patience and tech knowledge it will be almost impossible to make it work, but it's worth it if you can.
I've had previous Fitbit watches, including the Charge 3 and Charge 5. New features seem to be added with each update, but I found nothing really extraordinary about this Charge 6. I replaced my Charge 5 (which I really liked), because it kept losing it's charge, plus some other issues.
Couldn't ask for more. It's slim and light in weight, so I don't notice it on my arm, but has all the stats I need through the day. The screen is visually crisp and easy to maneuver through the options. Porcelain and silver is very pretty. It's perfect!
Use to help to get my steps in. And to check my afib
I bought mine because I saw how a series 5 potentially saved my wife's life by alerting her that she had Afib. Figuring it could happen to me, I bought one as an insurance policy. I also like the way I get messages and alerts.
I had my Fitbit Luxe for many years, and although the reviews were not good, I did love mine until it started acting up. So I decided to purchase the charge 6. I’ve had it for a few weeks now, and love the new style band. The face of it is larger than my old one but still sleek enough.
This Charge 6 is much smarter than my Charge 2. I'm not sure if Il mai tain the premium subscription yet.
The device works great but does not integrate well with Apple products. You need to use a separate application that does not feed the data to Apple Health. If you use multiple products for say weight lifting, steps, heart rate, and nutrition, it is a pain when you don't have the central application...
Have had a Fitbit for a number of years. I recently upgraded to the Charge 6 and am very satisfied. I don’t need bells and whistles but this model does have a lot. I enjoy the added sleep score and health metrics. I’m 64 and active. Exercise (strength and aerobic) 4 times a week.
It is very similar ti charge 5. Minimal connectivity improvements
