This is a nice compact zoom that works really well on the Fuji X-T1! It's easy to take just about everywhere and produces extremely sharp images! Focus can be slow on really distant subjects without much contrast (haze, back-lit clouds, far away mountains, etc) but in most conditions it performs...

This lens is often unfairly underrated among the Fuji lineup, yet it's a very useful tool for anyone who is interested in reducing weight of their photo bag. It reminds me of the old Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G VR DX AF-S ED: lightweight, sharp and definitely not overpriced.

I purchased this lens before a safari, not having a longer lens to capture close up shots. I'm very new to photography, but for the price, the quality cannot be beat. I was very happy with how my photos turned out.

Nice compact lens with handy focal length that is quite sharp. Good clarity, color and contrast. Fast focus and accurate. Some say this is a good lens for the money but I say it's just a good lens.

Most of the noise in the community goes towards the 55-200 or 50-140, but IMO you get excellent results, with a greater zoom range and smaller size from this significantly cheaper lens.
