The Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 may not be the most attractive lens around regarding its focal length but it is certainly a very capable performer. In terms of sharpness it plays in the highest league especially when stopping down a bit.

After I had looking into the Fujifilm system I made up my mind that I was going to jump in, but I didn't have the money to buy a camera, but the XF 27mm f/2.8 lens was on sale, so I bought it. Yes I bought a lens but didn't have the camera.

I purchased this pancake lens for my wife after she expressed interest in having a smaller lens for her Fuji X-T10, making the whole kit more compact and possible to fit in a small purse. She absolutely loves this lens for street photography and travel.

Surprisingly slow autofocus on my xpro2. Not sure why, but it hunts a lot compared to every other fuji lens i've used. Really excellent optics though.

This is not a cheap lens by any means, but it is just superb and well worth the cost. The lines are straight without distortion. The colors are really true. I love the low profile of this lens, because it puts people at ease.
