GE 17.5 cu.ft. White Top Freezer Refrigerator

I purchased this brand (GE - GTS18HGNRWW) of refrigerator due to my old refrigerator biting the dust. I have owned it for a month now and am very pleased with its features. It is nothing fancy nor I do not require it to be. It perfectly fits with my decor and compliments the kitchen.

Not very good, has a single control with pre-set values for both fridge and freezer. When either door is closed the other pops open and you have to make sure both doors are closed before walking away, learn the hard way. The freezer does have ice forming on the shelves.

We are very pleased with the color Slate. Happy to have a refrigerator that's keeping our ice cream treats cold and firm. We like the glass shelves better than wire shelves, so much easier to sit canned pop on and not having them fall over.

Nice fridge. It does what it supposed to do, keep food cold or frozen. Nice roomy shelves in the compartment & on the doors. The 'just 2 things...' is the lack of a light in the freezer, along with one or two more shelving height options in both compartments.

This is a wonderful appliance. The room inside of the refrigerator is GREAT, FREEZER CAPACITY IS VERY ROOMY. THIS TIME I BOUGHT A GREAT GE REFRIGERATOR. BEAUTIFUL COLOR THAT MATCHES MY GE STOVE. BLACK.

The reason I purchased this particular refrigerator is that it is the same model that I had for 18 years. The old refrigerator was not keeping food cold in the lower area, so I wanted a new one. I liked the old one so much that I wanted to replace it with the same model.

Just the right size for our home, love the updated features from the old refrigerator. The old one had rack shelves, these are glass and there are 2 separate crisper drawers instead of one big one.

This refrigerator is very noisy. "Normal" sounds described in booklet as "hummm...whoosh...whir! clicks, pops, cracks and chirps and water sounds. Had I know I would have an appliance that would talk to me constantly, I would not have chosen this.

Jackie was awesome from the moment she approached us til we finished. The only thing I don't/didn't like is the waiting period and she does not control that so it's not against her.

We purchased another GE refrigerator for our small apt bldg. The area is tight, due to built in cupboards, but this one fit perfectly. We have continued to purchase this and similar GE refrigerators and they last about 15 yrs or more.
