GE 19.1 cu.ft. Black Top Freezer Refrigerator

Using the preferred setting of three is not showing the temperature inside the unit that is the "normal" setting for proper operation. i.e. the freezer is showing between 10 and 20 degrees instead of 0 degrees and I have it set on number 4. Hoping it will get better when weather is cooler.

We needed a refrigerator that was garage ready and this was the one. Nothing fancy but functional for the kitchen overflow. Our previous GE refrigerator had lasted over 25 years and had been moved over 8 times. This was basically the same thing we had and hope it lasts as long as our other!

We bought this to put into our garage. With the temperatures this summer going over 100 degrees in the garage I made sure we bought a garage ready refrigerator. It's been great!

Never thought I would need this size for 2 people as a spare fridge, but it fits what the older 17.5 cu ft fit in freezer. The shelves need to be adjusted for tall bottles inside, but doable. Loved the fact GE has 2 slots for the freezer shelf, which is the flexibility I wanted!

I'm disappoiinted. The motor is louder than my previous refrigerator. And the ice maker is a major disappointment. The ice tastes bad. The dealer replaced the ice maker. This one is not as bad, but the ice still has a strange taste. And when the ice melts, the drinks have a bad taste.

Very nice, only downside it took to long to get it.

We purchased this refrigerator for our garage and have been happy with it so far! The only complaint is that you can't really have anything too close to the edge of the bottom of the refrigerator or else it won't close - the storage container on the door prevents it from closing.

I really like everything about this refrigerator. It’s the perfect size for a garage. It has clean lines. There is ample space in the refrigerator part as well as the freezer. The shelves are movable. The inside door of the fridge holds ample overflow condiments.

The freezer setting suggested by manufacturer works great, but the setting for refrigerator does not keep it at 40 degrees as recommended by FDA. I put a thermometer in refrigerator and after increasing to highest setting of 5, it was at 44 degrees.

This is a model designe for the garage. Initially happy with overall performance. Ice cream still softer than in my in-home unit despite freezer being set at highest setting. Otherwise all seems good. Waiting to see how it performs in warmer weather.
