This machine has no agitator and it only uses a VERY small amount of water. Mystery on how it can clean the clothes. Also spin cycle is very intense leaving deep wrinkles.
After having a front loader for over 30 years it will take some getting used to the noise, but it does not twist the clothes like the other machine did. I've only had it for two days, but I can see that my clothes are coming out nice and clean. It holds as much, or more than my front loader did.

Fabulous washing machine. Does all that I need and not overly complicated.
This washer is excellent. After washing a blanket, however, I had search on you tube how a to reset it several times when the awful vibration and walking became a major problem. It was stuck on spin after that wash. I almost bought anti vibration pads because of the problem.
There is no dispenser for detergent or softener, so you have to add it directly to the load. The detergent doesn't get the chance to properly dissolve, and then settles on the clothes because there really isn't much water being used (even when using the deep fill setting.
Love the water saving feature. It took a week to get used to it.
The washer fit well for our limited space. It is a challenge to get clothes at the bottom however, that's why only 4 out of 5 stars. We still very much like it.
It's hard to get used to the washer using so little water. I started setting my cycle to have a second rinse and I'm happier with how my clothes are washing now. Also, for any towels, sheets or blankets I add a second spin too. Just different from what I was accustomed to.
Might be a great machine but right now I’m ready to kick it to the curb! The drain hose is a piece junk! It is cheap plastic, not flexible and has caused water to back up over our slop sink. Very disappointed in GE for the quality of the drain hose.
