GE 2.2 cu. ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave

Really, the only thing I do not like about this microwave is the hard-to-see display. It is black numbers on grey background. I have to use a small flashlight to see the controls however this gets better as I memorize the keypad. Otherwise, meets expectations

I have always appreciated GE products and this microwave was no exception. With 1200 watts this oven heats very fast but has 10 power settings so you can choose how to use it. With 2.2 cubic feet you can cook an entire meal at one time. The display is a little hard to read if not viewed straight on.

Love this Microwave. Has tons of features, it has a huge capacity and is very easy to clean. My only issue is that the keypad is hard to see. Black on gray in a darker corner of the kitchen isn't the best combo. However that is very little to worry about as it does everything else with perfection!

I was annoyed by the option to buy Water Heaters with different lives - 5 - 7 - 9 year ... and now spent $300 on a microwave that lasted 13 months ... I feel so taken advantage of. The magnetron went out ... and the microwave started shooting blue sparks from inside the wall of the microwave.

Do not buy anything from GE because Samsung makes it and GE DOES NOT CARE, THEY DON'T BRING GOOD THINGS TO LIFE, THE SET GOOD HOMES ON FIRE!!!!

  Our Ge Profile microwave caught fire on Christmas Eve! Fumes from transformer(magnatron) fire are horrible!did not shut off fire department had to d take it out as it continued to smoke!defective, it needs to be recalled!faulty defective,dangerous

It is perfect for the space I needed it for. For the first time in a microwave for me, the sensor works properly. Popcorn is popped to perfection, none of my items are overcooked, I am comfortable in all the settings.

We really love this microwave! its been in our family for 7 years and, granted, we do take excellent care of it, clean it frequently, and always use plastic microwave covers to prevent food and beverage splatter, but it still looks like new after all this time of daily use.

I bought this microwave about 5 weeks ago mainly because it was the only one I could find that would fit into the microwave cubby hole at home. The decal on which are imprinted all the buttons you push to operate (Start/Cancel/Reheat/Popcorn, etc) is peeling off.
