GE Over the Range 1.6 cu. ft. Capacity Microwave Oven

I was restricted in my choice of above cooktop microwave ovens because of depth. This was the “least deep“ that I could find when we remodeled our kitchen in 2015. It stopped working in May, 2020 so we replaced it with the exact same model.

We had to replace our 20 year old Kenmore microwave when it started making growling sounds. We chose this one based on the reviews and the price. It feels and sounds flimsy compared to our old one and it doesn't have many of the features I enjoyed, but it's adequate so far.

We bought this microwave when we bought a refrigerator, electric range and dishwasher. This was our first experience with the GE brand of microwave and found it to be a little louder than expected. Otherwise we like all the features.

Microwave was exactly as described and was the perfect replacement of the old unit. Fit exactly in the opening. Very happy with the purchase!

I've had this microwave for about two years. It's been everything I needed. My only complaint is that the surface light is in a dumb place. When I try to find it in the dark, I push the bottom button which is the vent fan. Other brands put the light at the bottom which is easier to find.

I purchased this microwave for my elderly mother. She absolutely loves it, and she is picky about everything. She reports that 1) the set-up instructions are easy to understand, 2) it is easy to clean, 3) the buttons and functions are easy to use.

This is an inexpensive, over the range microwave that does the job. We purchased this microwave just short of a year ago and about 1 month ago it started to buzz when it was turned on. I contacted ABT and they said bring it in and we will replace it. Fast and painless.

This is our second GE over-the-range microwave. It's much like our first one that is simple to operate and clean and heats everything superbly. I don't need all the fancy-mancy other buttons some microwaves have. The basics are plenty and work well.

This is a very convenient microwave. I like how easy it is to use and prepares meals well. It has good features and looks very nice. I totally recommend it.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the product and the team that was sent to install it. There was extra work needed to make it work in my location, but it was finished in the same visit and it's been working great ever since.
