GE 1.7 cu. ft. Black Over-the-Range Microwave

Purchased the exact same model as our previous microwave but as it turns out, it is not the same at all. It is very loud, does not contain an interior rack and the door opens and closes very loudly. The light on the microwave is bright white and the old model was more of a softer yellow/green.

The microwave is functional and is supposed to have more room inside. It seems to be more powerful than my previous microwave. The major downsides are: (1) the vent fan has a high and low setting, but the low setting is really loud--scares my pets and can't hear the TV, and (2) the control buttons...

I bought this microwave to replace my older GE microwave. I guess I didn't realize that built-in microwaves are a bit deeper now than they were a few years ago. My microwave sits next to a diagonal cabinet. Now I can't close the cabinet door.

I bought this last year to replace an identical one like it that lasted 6 years. The previous one did not have the reheat sensing feature, which I love. It reheats any single serving to the correct temperature automatically.

Needed a replacement microwave that would fit the space and match the other appliances and this one did the trick. Came quickly, hubby said not difficult to put up. He likes the recessed spin tray but no one likes how bright the clock display is. you can't turn it down/dim but you can turn it off.

Had to update my microwave as my older one was acting up. This microwave is SOOO loud! The exhaust fan is super loud and there is no way to turn off the fan when heating food either. It also doesn't do a very good job in exhausting out either! It's just loud and not good!

I am absolutely delighted with my new microwave. It is much easier to use then my last one. It alerts you when the food is ready but does not continue those annoying sounds continually when you can't get right to it. It cooks evenly. It is clean looking and a brilliant asset to the kitchen.

Needed a quick replacement in white ( which is hard to find) and was able to have this one installed within the week of purchase- The installer was amazingly fast and efficient- He should post a tik tok of his process!

It works good. Takes a while to get used to the various controls. It would be helpful to have a Manual to help guide me thru the cooking of foods. I'm am very pleased with the unit overall.
