The kit had several brackets that made no sense when mounting the unit. Couldn't understand the purpose of the top rear brackets. Called GE techs and they could not give me the reason for these brackets. All the tech did was read back the instruction manual to me.

We bought this microwave because we have a small space for a unit. While it is inherently limited in interior size and in functionality, it serves our purposes well. Microwave was not an easy install. The brackets did not match up with previous model brackets even though this microwave was the replacement for it.

Very nice unit…no muss-no fuss controls and design, and heats quickly…also quieter than I expected. Fits easily in an under-cabinet mounting arrangement.

I've had this microwave for 2 years. After 1.5 years, the heating element started to not work quite right - specifically, frozen TV dinners started to cook incredibly unevenly - frozen in the middle, finger-burning hot on the edges.

This mount was the perfect solution to my microwave location. I purchased the compatible GE microwave to be mounted over my stove in place of the vent hood. Contractor had an issue with the directions but figured it out.

Have to give it a five, since this is the only one that works with this Microwave. I would, however, like to give GE a 0 for even changing the mounting holes from their original undercounter microwave in the first place.
