We love the sleek look of this, but it sounds like a jet engine on the highest setting. Even the low and medium seem louder than any vent hood I've had over the years. We also have a high ceiling, so expect a seam where the chimney extension goes.

We love how the hood and associated pieces came packed. Good instructions except this is for 8 ft ceiling height minimum. Tried calling for support and get into phone world. We have 55 inches from stove top to ceiling. We are short 5 inches. Minimum space from stove to hood is 24 inches.

Great looking piece for the kitchen doing what it's meant to. Knocked a star off as where we live it is windy and we keep hearing the vent through this. Not really a product flaw but something to consider when you have it installed. Ask the installers to try and minimize the sound of wind.

over time, the open/close flap can falls on the motor when vent fan is on causing motor to burn and die. individual major parts are very expensive to replace, cheaper to get a new unit.

The best thing about this hood is the way it looks. The fan works well and the lighting doesn't miss an inch of the range. I do wish the night light was a lot dimmer.
