True wireless earbuds are all the rage these days, and with many phones lacking a headphone jack, it’s really no surprise. You can mostly blame Apple for the missing port, but you can also thank them for giving the entire industry a reason to copy the AirPods. And Google is finally in the game.

No Active Noise Cancelling, Middling Battery Life, Not Particularly Comfortable
The Google Pixel Buds 2020 are okay for mixed usage. They're compact, sturdy, and have a very stable fit, which is great for on-the-go use. While their near seven-hour continuous battery life is longer than advertised, it still might not be long enough to last an entire workday without needing a...

Comfortable and stable fit., Easy pairing with Android devices., Sturdy-feeling IPX4-rated construction.

Poor microphone recording quality., Bad noise isolation., Unremarkable single-charge battery life.
It's been a month and change since Google launched its first true wireless earbuds. When I first got my hands on the Pixel Buds, I was struck by their fit and finish, comfort, and sound quality, but nagging problems like audible interference at low volumes and short battery life left me feeling...

SoundPleasant and airy., ComfortYou practically can't tell you're wearing them., FeaturesFast pairing, touchless Assistant access, and wireless charging are great to have., ControlsThe best earbud touch controls I've used.

PriceEven with all their bells and whistles, the Pixel Buds are a tough sell at $179., Battery lifeFive hours on a charge isn't great at this price point., StaticIt's faint, but any interference is bad interference.
The true wireless Pixel Buds make it easy to call up Google Assistant, but audio quality isn't their strong suit.

Comfortable, Quick access to Google Assistant, Long range

Background hiss in audio, Occasional sound cutouts, No EQ
Deep Google integration and improvements in design and sound make the Google Pixel Buds 2 the company’s most inviting earbuds yet. The Google Pixel Buds 2 are a prosperous return to the audio space for Google and some of the best wireless earbuds available.

Excellent Google integration, Attractive and sturdy design, Vastly improved sound, Hands-free features work well, Fast, wireless charging

Same subpar battery life as the AirPods, Poor call quality, Buggy controls
Pixel Buds 2 have hit the balance of having great battery life and great audio quality, while not being overly large and uncomfortable to wear.

Sound quality, Wireless charging, IPX4 water resistance, Decent battery life, Auto-pairing across devices is so simple

Can be uncomfortable after several hours of use, No AptX support, Sort of doesn't work with the Pixel Stand
Google's latest Pixel Buds check several essential boxes, and most people will be more than happy with them

Great-looking, Comfortable, Actually stay in your ear

-
Poor battery life, Almost no bass, No noise-cancelling
The new Pixel Buds are quite comfortable for true wireless earbuds, and I also think their overall aesthetic is among the best in the genre. Their feature set is limited, but decent, and their sound quality easily outdoes the AirPods (and many cheaper competitors).

Sleek and compact design, Comfy fit, Clean, effervescent sound

Slightly buggy performance, No transparency mode, Poor call quality
“Google's newest Pixel Buds pack a big boost in audio quality.”
Verdict : Google's latest stab at great earbuds for a wide audience is a surprising success. If you need Android earbuds and want to spend big, consider these strongly (but not universally) recommended.
Since I have a pixel phone I decided to buy these. They fit my ears perfect, they're secure and don't fall out during activities, the pod they go in charges them several times before needing charged itself. They sound great. I love these ear buds!
It's the most awesome earbuds that I've ever had. It doesn't have the best sound quality, but all the options you have to control your earbud (e.g., control your media, manage your calls, or Google Assistant) make it the best available earbud... #sweepstakes
Nice clean look and feel. It comes with small, medium and large adjustable ear rubber pieces. I tried the medium because it was on when i got it. They fell out. I went up to the large and they still fall out. I have not used it all that much.
These work very well. The case/charger works very well is sturdily built. Audio quality is very clear, I wish it was a little louder for music.
These integrated well with my Pixel 3.But I was very disappointed with the sound quality. I like listening to music and for the price I expected much better.
I'm using Google's Pixel Phone 3 XL. This earbuds perfectly matches my phone. I'm fully satisfied with the buds.
These earbuds work well and the clarity is great! Excellent purchase. Paired easily with my Pixel phone.
Very solid product. Audio sounds great, wish volume was louder for music. #sweepstakes
Great fit, surprisingly good sound quality, good connectivity with pixel phone
Seamless with my Pixel 4XL. Stay in ears while going out for a run.
