The HP U28 keeps its promise of high color accuracy, and that’s across both sRGB and DCI-P3. It’s a bright screen with solid build quality, but fails to make HDR color or overall quality pop. There are also cheaper competitors with similar performance.

Very high quality monitor. The resolution is the highest and colors and contrast perfect. Makes reading text for long periods of time less strenuous. It Is an eyes saver. Purchased about 18 months ago and love this monitor, however a few weeks ago the USBC connection started flickering. Thinking the cable was going bad, I purchased a new one, however the issue obviously was not with the cable as the USBC port no longer works.

Love the style, crisp color and clarity of this monitor. Also really like the smooth and simple style of the stand. I really like that they tilt, swivel and can be turned vertically. One of the best features, is how easy you can use the joystick toggle in the back of the monitor to make changes.

Until you see 4K for the first time you won't appreciate how different it is from FHD resolution, or even QHD resolution, it's so much clearer and sharper. I cannot emphasize enough how this monitor has improved my home office! I don't even use my laptop screen and I find that I can have 3-4 tabs open side-by-side and still see everything clearly. I was a bit intimidated by the size at first, but it was easy to set up and I have adjusted to it quickly!

After using this for several months I am raising the star rating to a full FIVE. This monitor is a workhorse and helps me be super productive in the home office. The ease with which I can switch between my gaming notebook after hours, my personal data machine and the office's notebook is awesome.

This monitor, HP U28 4K HDR Monitor, is beyond words to explain! I am absolutely amazingly impressed and more with this monitor! It has fabulous colors and crispness of the picture on the screen. Its amazing I am just floored by how amazing the colors and crispness of them there is on this monitor.

  Affordable, Lightweight

These monitors are awesome! I was looking to upgrade the two monitors I was currently using for video/photo editing and after doing a lot of research and even after returning two monitors, I finally settled on these HP 4K monitors.

I bought two of these monitors to replace my older Samsung 4K monitors. When I fired up the HP monitors and put them next to my older Samsung monitors the difference was immediately apparent. The colors were more vibrant and the picture quality was sharper.

I use MacOS; it gave me no end of grief and cannot synchronize at more than 30hz, which is abominable. But it does work at 60Hz with direct DVI, but it wouldn't come on many times, until after I flashed it. Now that it's been flashed it's better, even if it cannot do 60Hz on hdmi.
