I heartily recommend the Hyper X Cloud II Wireless headphones. They were a delight to use, never had any issues, and were comfortable for long sessions of work and play.
-
+
Rock-solid audio, Good microphone, Lightweight and comfortable for long sessions, Long battery life
-
-
Ability to twist earcups 90 degrees, More color options, Smaller USB dongle
The HyperX Cloud II has been a reigning king in the world of sub-$100 gaming headsets. The comfortable build, solid sound quality, and impressive microphone made it a favorite of many and now HyperX aims to improve on its best-selling headset with a wireless version.
-
+
Great Sound, Comfortable Frame, Sturdy Build
-
-
Earcups get hot in extended sessions, Subpar microphone
The HyperX Cloud 2/Cloud II headset is good for gaming. They have low latency, a wired USB connection, a fairly well-balanced audio reproduction, and a great noise filtering mic.
-
+
Negligible latency., Good audio reproduction and microphone., Well-built and comfortable design.
-
-
Poor noise isolation., Slightly bulky., Can sound sharp on some tracks., Bass delivery varies significantly across users. Sensitive to glasses.
Being comfortable is important, but how does the headset sound? The big change to this headset was the addition of the USB sound card and 7.1 virtual surround sound. You can definitely tell the difference from using the headset in stereo mode to 7.1 mode.
-
+
– Built with quality materials, – Great sound and 7.1 virtual surround sound, – Removable microphone, – Comes with carrying case, – Can be used in stereo or USB mode, – 2 different sets of earcups included
-
-
– No control software for the sound card, – Need an adapter if you want to use it in stereo mode with a PC and be able to use the microphone
The HyperX Cloud II headset has landed and landed chock full of a quality you can’t expect in a sub $100 Pro-gaming headset. From the powder coated brushed aluminum to the memory foam ear cups you’ll be hard pressed to find one thing on the Cloud II not geared toward quality.
Bringing the high-end gaming spectrum to the mainstream market, the HyperX Cloud II will make your wallet tremble, but it will all be worth it in the end.

Our favourite gaming headset just got better with 7.1 digital surroundbut it's also driven down the price of its predecessor, so choosing between Cloud models is a tough call.
The realm of gaming headsets is populated by many dubious quality and overpriced offerings shielded by the 'gaming' facade. The need for prospective buyers to do some research before they buy is particularly important for a gaming headset.
-
+
Extremely comfortable, Balanced audio profile, USB soundcard, Range of colours, Virtual 7.1 surround mode
-
-
Overly-long cable, Mic jack cover easily lost
The Kingston HyperX Cloud II gaming headset is one of the best headsets available on the market now. Both the audio quality and the comfort of the headset are impressive. The USB DSP works well on PC and PlayStation 4, creating clear chat functions and explosive sound.
The Kingston HyperX Cloud II is one of the most stylish, coziest sub-$100 headsets available, though its low end is lacking.

Best-in-class comfort, Stylish, lightweight design, Includes both pleather and plush ear covers
-
-
Lackluster bass, No software for customizing sound
To say that I'm in love with this headset is an understatement. It has comfort that totally surpasses all expectations and even has the sound quality to go along with it. The surround sound is so good that it's almost too immersive, the build quality is great, and battery life is more than enough...
Amazing headset. Very versatile and light weight. Also love the different pads you can add for the ears
I got this headset because I wanted one with a breaded cord and a real mic; I don't trust the cordless headphones with the built in mic. I love how the memory foam is so comfortable, I actually forget I'm wearing it. The sound quality is great and it's truly a "noise canceling headset".

Comfortable, Great Microphone, Great Sound Quality, Highly Compatible, Lightweight, Stylish
when using this head set I ran into a problem or maybe a few , u cannot use them for a gaming pc / laptop . The audio cuts out mid way while playing or just point blank doesn't work to begin with, me personally I use it to play rainbow six siege , its amazing to play with this head set while playing...
great for pc gaming. the mic is nice and the sound is fantastic. better than my old razers in audio quality. I personally doubt use the mic, as I have a separate setup for that, so I appreciate that you can unplug the mic easily.
Been looking for a good set of headphones for multiple use...Stumbled on these, I did some research and discovered these came with a very high rating. So I thought I would give them a try. The Kingston HyperX Cloud II are everithing they claim to be..
Good quality headset. You have to pretty much turn it full volume on the PS4, but it sounds fine. The sound card adds so much also.
My first headset, and almost everything's great, but one issue: the microphone setting. The headset tries to make you use their in-built mic settings, not the system ones. However, the maximum volume it goes to is extremely low, which made me have to use a bunch of workarounds to increase it to...
- I recommend it because it is a overall durable quality headset, but I personnally have to use it with another spliter (without the audio card), because sound cuts are annoying.
-
+
- Great headphone sound quality - Amazing noise cancellation - Good build quality (durable) - Braided cable
-
-
- Splitter is NOT universal (doesn't fit in my computer) - Audio cuts rather often when using the 7.1 soundcard (from what I know it doesn't affect all headsets) - Microphone quality is a littlebit bellow average
Bottom line, if you have a large head or larger ears don't plan on this headset no matter how good the reviews are. I admit, I have a bigger than average head size, finding fitted baseball caps used to be a pain in the butt since they never had my size in stock.
