If you’ve used HyperX products in the past or still use them today, you know where this is going. The company came out with their refreshed model of the Cloud Stinger that came out back in 2017 and have made a few changes. Some small and one big one.

Great design, Easy to use, Battery Life, Excellent sound quality

Adjusting mic volume, Micro-USB, not USB-C, recharging, Doesn't work with Xbox One
When it comes to comfort the Cloud Stinger is super comfortable on my head. The memory foam cushions sit around your ears and do not cause any strain after long gaming sessions. The lightweight design of the headset and the foam on the headband also help make this headset really comfortable.

Weak in extreme low and high frequencies.
Kingston’s HyperX Cloud line of headsets have historically been top-notch. And while many gaming headsets come with a premium price, Kingston has taken note, and released the HyperX Cloud Stinger.
There’s just no doubt about it: HyperX hit a homerun with the Cloud Stinger. Coming in under $50 pricepoint probably wasn’t easy, and none of its big-name competitors have been willing to try.

Great performance in gaming; comfortable earcups, flexible boom mic flips up to mute; amazing price

Stiff headband; slightly “plasticky” feel
Here at FFG HQ we were happily surprised when Hyper X sent us the Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset. You can see us use it on our unboxing video here . One of the coolest features on the Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset was the 90 degree rotation of the headphones themselves as shown in the...
Headsets, like most peripherals, are very subjective. Both looks and fit make reviews more opinion based than products we can accurately benchmark, at least without some very expensive audio equipment.

Plastic construction Microphone could be better Distorts at high end of range
At $99.99, The HyperX Cloud Stinger Wireless headset offers good sound and a smooth connection at a reasonable price.

Not great for music without an DAC, Headband could be more padded
HyperX Cloud Stinger Wireless Gaming Headset is a solid sub-$99 option for PC and PlayStation 4 gamers, with clean audio and a plug-and-play design.
When Kingston released their HyperX Cloud gaming headset they took the gaming world by storm. With outstanding build quality, very comfortable fit, great sound and a microphone that put many of the big gaming peripheral players offerings to shame (looking at you SteelSeries) at a great price they...

Lack of 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound
It only lasted less than a year. It was such a disappointment. The speaker started acting up and then next thing, the headphone stopped working. The cord where it connects to the controller started coming apart.
Good quality and pretty comfortable, they don't weigh much so it's good for long sessions without cramping. The only downsides I have are the sound and durability. The volume isn't as loud as I had hoped it would be, obviously I'm not trying to blow my eardrums out, but the highest volume seems...
I've purchased four of these headsets for my grandkids in the past 2 years and they are all used on a daily basis.. My decision to buy these was based on typically good reviews plus the fact that they are very well constructed.
Great headset for the price! Comfortable for several hours, without hurting around the ears. Sound range is decent and good 3D spatial sound in games that completely upgrades your skill versus default TV speakers.
I bought this headset because I broke my old ones. The difference this headset make is phenomenal and I didn’t have to pay a pretty penny for them makes them that much better!
-Would recommend this headset if you're on a budget, it's one of the best for the price.

-A little uncomfortable when worn for extended periods of gaming/work -A little bit smaller than I expected but none the less the build quality is very sturdy
Have used for a long time. I use mine with a turtle beach amplifier with super human hearing option. The 50mm drivers are almost too loud with the amp. Crystal clear.
I have been using other less expensive headsets. The one ear headsets in particular. This headset is much more comfortable and easier to adjust. When those headsets got destroyed by my dogs, I wanted to get something a little bit better.
