The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless are good for wireless gaming, although they have a couple of big caveats. They have a comfortable fit, and their long battery life easily lasts through multiple days of gaming.

Very good boom mic performance., Exceptionally long battery life., Comfortable and well-built.

No Bluetooth., Prone to inconsistencies in audio delivery., Many user issues experienced when using the companion app.
Kingston HyperX has spruced up its Cloud headset with the MAV Edition, re-releasing it with some cool extras and a specialty design. Let's take a look.

Size issues, Fuzzy wuzzy microphone end
The HyperX Cloud Alpha shows what a company can do when it sticks with a design and continues to improve on it, rather than trying to create the next best thing from the ground up. Admittedly, HyperX started out with a great design with its Cloud in the first place, so it didn't take much to perfect...
The headset’s drivers are extremely efficient and capable of volume levels they should satisfy almost any user. Kingston rates the maximum output at 105dB. I have no doubt that they are capable of meeting or perhaps exceeding that specification.
For a gamer hearing a sound a fraction of a second earlier can be a matter of life and death. So the quality of the headset is almost as important as the speed of the processor and the graphics card that show what they are doing on the screen.
The primary goal of a gaming headset is to deliver the highest quality sound. Whether blasting 7.1 surround into a gamer’s ears to hear every footstep of an opponent or feeling the rumble of huge explosions, sound can play a crucial part of gameplay.
PC hardware vendors are constantly expanding into markets they traditionally have never had a presence in. Kingston, known for its memory and storage solutions, is the latest one; its HyperX Cloud gaming headset is its first venture into the world of gaming audio.
If you’re a gamer, there is no shortage of gaming headphones to choose from. Our HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset review takes a look at a pair of gaming headphones for the Xbox One and Windows PCs.
There are a lot of gaming headsets that you can buy for $100, but we can only think of a few candidates that can truly match the Kingston HyperX Cloud on performance and overall design.

Rubber cap on line-out port can easily get lost, Detachable microphone could be better
[ad#ad-1]The HyperX Cloud is the first gaming headset from a company that isn’t know for its gaming audio prowess. That been said, HyperX ( a division of Kingston), has really come out swing with a well speced headset.
Amazing sound quality when using with Dolby Atmos. Very comfortable. Would like the headphones to extend a little further to accommodate my big head. With that said, if you got a massive head, they are not for you. Otherwise, this is a great set!
So, I tend to fall into line with most audiophiles whilst still holding onto that consumer in me. Here comes the thought. These are absolutely not fine tuned or relatively amazing sounding headphones(gaming headsets generally are not, in fact 95% are awful). Well, these I actually really like.
This headset is great, as someone moving from Logitech G230's it's an amazing improvement. The sound quality is amazing, as well as it amazingly light and comfortable, I could wear it all day. I would certainly recommend this head set to anyone looking to buy a quality head set.

- Mic sometimes picks up certain sounds/frequencies from the headset. - A somewhat long (or rather feels long) break in period.
I use these for my Xbox Series X. Extremely comfortable on the ears and doesn’t squeeze your head.Great quality sound that shifts through your ears as the action does so.Nice volume control for chat. Definitely drowns out all sound from the outside. Fantastic everyday use.
Footsteps are clear and easy to point which way its coming from. Really comfortable feel as well with the eartips. I tried Large first and found that those are a bit big and medium is just right for my ears. I can have these in my ear for hours and they wont hurt after.
Even if your headset works just fine right now, you should still consider getting this. I'll be recommending this to my friends.

All of it!! I usually wait 3+ months for owning something before I give my opinion just so I can get a good feel for it's overall quality AND lifespan. But this headset is overwhelmingly great. I love it. The build quality is solid, nothing feels cheap or like some sort of after-thought.

The only real con I can think of is the controller box on the extension cord. It's probably best to use it since I turned my system volume up to 100% but the sound was still weak.
The sound is really nice. Comfortable for extended wear. The detachable microphone is a neat feature too. Haven't tried yet but it should be compatible with other gaming systems with a headphone jack! I've been really happy with this purchase!
This product is super great honestly. Unfortunately, I guess I have super sensitive ears because no matter what kind of earbuds I use (wired or wireless), I cannot wear them for a long period of time as they make my ears very sore and I end up getting a sort of sensory overload.
I notice some people complained about the Microphone. I had no problem using it with my phone or with Ubuntu Linux. The only place I have problems is with Windows (testing using 8.1 and 10). The Windows problem can be resolved by going into Sound Settings and changing the microphone volume.

Sometimes people in my office get noisy and I can drown them out by playing music through the headphones. Covers ears well.

Would be better if the Y connector was color coded so I can quickly tell which connection is for the headphones and which are for the speakers when lighting is poor.
Solid headset. Had troubles with a wireless one so wanted to get away from that unpredictability. Sometimes wired is better and this headset is comfortable, good sound, mg buddies say the mic is good. Checks all the boxes.
