I bought this bass because i was tired of playing my precision copy. i purchased it from a guitar store in glasgow for aobut £175, got a discount on it because of store promoton, think the right price was £239 the first thing that appealed about this bass was its design, i had been playing precison...

The price of this bass cannot be beaten. For what you pay for it even new, it's totally awesome. However, most professionals nowadays are willing to shell out more money for stuff, so I would say that they should look farther up on the price range for a newer, better bass, or perhaps a good old...

This bass is a great starter, on stage performer or practice unit. It really fills the room with quality sound when asked to play. [ read more on Audiofanzine ] Bottom Line is this bass is a great piece of equiptment and would easily be the best choice for someone starting out on bass.

Great first bass that wont break your budget! If your a pro, look elsewhere. [ read more on Audiofanzine ] Great bass. for beginners-intermediates. Easily one of my life long companions. i would never trade or sell this bass. i love it. Jewel blue finish rocks by the way.

I've played the squier p bass, fender p bass, american p bass, and p bass special. This bass beats them all. IT will never break. I once acciddently lifted it into a moving METAL fan blade and there isnt even a scratch. THis thing is built like a tank. I love this bass.

I got this guitar a few years ago as a gift. It cost about $200 at the time. I needed a bass to start and learn on and the person at my local music store said that this would be a good one.

For this low a price, you will not find a better sounding bass. Between the P/J configuration and the active tone boost, you really get a wealth of tonal possibilities. The finish is top notch - no different than what you'd find on a bass costing ten-times as much.I bought this as a cheap, lighter...

This is a great beginner / intermediate bass. My girlfriend owns one, and we keep it in the music room alongside all of my higher-end basses. Every now and then I play it and I’m always, always impressed with the sound and feel, especially for the price.

Great sound, feel, and playability. Excellent value. Plays better than many more expensive basses.

Completely blown away. I did not expect a bass costing so little to sound this good. Running it through my Fender Bassman 500 head/ Fender Rumble 4x10 cabinet playing Death/Doom metal, the Gio is my go to bass. I prefer the sound of the Gio to that of my Ibanez SR300 and Fender Precision bass.

Quite simply the best bass for beginners. Its wafer thin neck is super comfortable, and the stock pickups are very versatile. The finish is great as well, and the Elixer strings it comes with are the icing on the cake.

Very comfortable and thin neck, great glossy finish, very versatile, light, perfect for beginners, comes with Elixer strings

I’ve had this guitar for 10 years now. Bought it because it was cheap and needed one fast to help a friends band. Didn’t expect to love it, or even really like it. Just something to get me by for a month or so. Over the past 10 years I’ve owned easily 10 bass guitars, and this is still my favorite.

It's good if you have small hands or want a light bass. Good for a beginner but may soon want to upgrade. Overall it's only good, cheap and cheerful.

Light, slim neck, easy to play

  • -

Feel to much string vibration through the body of bass

This is just the bass I was looking for, something affordable and has the quality Ibanez sound. Plus it's so pretty! I'm a guitar player who was looking for bass to do some bass work in the studio. This was a great purchase.

Great Bass for all levels of players. Set-up was great, didn't have to do a thing. This is a great bass for the price.

I often gig the bar scene and prefer to bring only inexpensive basses with me so I don't have to worry about wear and tear, damage, or theft. Last year my cheap workhorse bass finally died so I began looking for a low cost replacement in the $300 range.

  • +

    Great bang for the buck.

  • -

J pickup extremely sensitive to EM hum.

Been playing guitar all my life, but wanted to get into playing bass. I originally bought a much more expensive 6 string Ibanez, but it was unplayable for me. So, I ordered this thing as a temporary 4 stringer. I'm not really a bassist, but not sure why you would need anything more.
