Despite its ergonomic design and plenty of customization options, the Kensington Pro Fit Ergo Vertical Wireless Trackball suffers from a stiff housing that results in jerky cursor movements.

+
Comfortable fit., Many customizable buttons., Sensitivity adjustment button., Includes storage for wireless dongle., Long-lasting batteries., Dual Bluetooth connections., Easy-to-use software.
-
-
Trackball housing is stiff, and cursor tracking erratic., No tilt adjustment., Right-handed only., Uses AA instead of rechargable batteries.
Pros:+ Unassuming look+ 2.4GHz USB (god I hate Bluetooth+ Good enough tracking+ Racheted scrollwheel that also works reliably as middle buttonCons:- Not much really.
I had a Kensington mouse back in the 90's and it was one of the best at that time, really nice clicky buttons that felt great. This mouse feels mediocre at best and without software to configure the extra buttons to the functions I need it's worthless.

It really is full size. I like a big mouse and this fits the bill. Tracking is fine, mouse wheel is fine. Takes 2 standard AA batteries (included), and you can use rechargeables.

No software to customize the buttons, making it essentially useless for me. The buttons are a bit mushy. Feels too light even with both batteries installed. The reciever is a lot bigger than it should need to be - other brands vary from small to tiny, this one is as big or bigger than most flash...
Excellent mouse. Both Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz. Perfect size and weight. Has high enough resolution to be effective on a 4k monitor.
I would've expected this mouse to last longer than a year at this price. Granted, I use this a LOT for work, but I'm wary of buying another Kensington mouse for fear it will fail after a year, too.

It's fairly light for a full-size mouse and the buttons click responsively. The battery life is great (2 AAs), and the on/off switch helps. Never had problems with tracking or erratic cursor movement.

About a year after buying it, the left button isn't working - sometimes no click, sometimes double. If I angle my hand and really grind down, the button might single click. Dragging is nearly impossible (the button "releases" itself). The scroll wheel is jumpy, too, but that could be dust.
I love the functionality of this Mouse! I love that it supports Bluetooth, as well as USB capabilities.
This is the second bad experience with Kensington mouses. My Ci65M wireless started oozing a sticky glue like substance from between the top buttons. I'll be going back to Logitech for future rodent purchases!

large size good for large hands well designed

It malfunctioned after less than 3 months. Cursor started spinning madly in mid-battle which got me fragged. Won't work properly now, sending it back.
I love this mouse, it's smooth and light. Easy to use straight out of the box.
As others here have said, disable the enhanced tracking feature under mouse options in windows 7 to enable the full DPI potential and make sure the mouse speed it at the highest or close for most response, especially for gaming.

Exceptional comfort, performance, and value for exceptional price. very comfortable especially for large handed people. lightweight but great grip and response. Great rubberized grip and feet.

Good feel for my small hands. Like the off switch to save batteries. Another good Kensington product design. Used their speakers, mp3 fm car adapter in the past. will buy kensington first
