Kitchen Aid KitchenAid 30" Black Smoothtop Electric Cooktop with Downdraft Ventilation

I use my cooktop every day and I love it There is nothing about it I would change Hopefully I never have to change it my last cooktop lasted me 34 years and since I am 76 years old this one should outlast me.

I have used the cooktop for a month now, and I have the following comments. The actual cooking is pretty good. I find it hard to place the pans over the heating elements, because they have no external markings. I have to wait until the red shows to know exactly where the place the pan.

The new cooktop is great. Large pans fit on the burners easily (previous cooktop had an edge around the outside with the controls and the downdraft in the middle, and large pans would end up riding on one or all). And the downdraft on this one really works.

The cooktop looks great on the island with the new quartz countertop. We have received many compliments even from teenagers. It is very sleek and contemporary looking. It cook well and evenly too. It is important to clean after every use or one will see the residue from the previous cooking.

I love that the entire cooktop is smooth. My old cooktop had a metal border and large pots did not fit well. That's not the case with this cooktop. It also heats quickly and is easy to use. Love it!

I have been cooking on my new cooktop for about a month and I am very frustrated because the cooktop is horrible to clean! Every small splatter makes a stain that requires and a lot of time to cleanup. Wish I had not bought this type of finish.

This a great cooktop stove. Easy to use. Very stylish. Cleans up very well.Highly recommend if you remodel or new construction project.

We replaced our old JennAir electrical downdraft cooktop, which must be >30 years old, with this new one almost 10 days ago, and love it so far. Comparing to our old one, the exhaust fan is much quiet and powerful. The cooking elements heat up quickly and stay hot.

We bought this stove to replace an older JennAir that came with the house. Both have been my first experience with downdraft cooktops, which I do not prefer at all, but as it was explained, it would've been extremely costly to reroute ventilation.

The cooktop was easy to install and looks great. purchased the recommended cleaner and it cleans well. However, the surface scratches easily. A pot I used for cooking the first time I used the new cooktop left scratch on one of the burners. No idea how or why that happened. Disappointed.
