This replaced a much older version of same combo oven/microwave. This is quieter than the old unit was, hardly any noise at all. Cooks great and easy to use keypad. I was a little worried about purchasing as some of the reviews talked about how noisy it is but it is not. Very happy we purchased it.
The unit has a nice appearance, but it's mostly impossible to keep the stainless clean without fingerprints. Really need to put the new fingerprint resistant finish on this. Also the door to the microwave doesn't always close properly and has a very strange switch for the light such that you have to...

While we don't normally review an appliance until we get significant use & time on it, we agree the quality of Kitchenaid is top notch. Our remodeled kitchen was just completed & we started using it.
We've had our oven/micro combo now for about a month. My favorite part of the oven is the size of the glass window and the brightness of the bulbs. It's so easy to see what's cooking inside, and my husband no longer opens the door to check. The bottom is a beautiful sapphire blue...gorgeous.

We purchased this oven to replace our 14 year-old KitchenAid Built In. The oven is beautiful and includes a lot of improvements in the design and functionality. The microwave is both a convection oven and microwave which came in very handy over Thanksgiving.
The power of the microwave isn't as strong as our other microwave.

Easy To Clean

Microwave door sometimes does not close on it's own, unless pressed shut. Self cleaning oven will smell up the entire house on the first use. Hopefully the 2nd cleaning isn't as bad. Be sure to turn on your hood fan and open the windows. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
