I have a very hi-end Activ Linn system that I bought when I had a much larger house. When I down-sized my house, the Linn, without the back-ground speakers, filled the room. Then I decided, it would be better to have some surround sound going down and I bought a set of low-end Yamaha speakers.
I get really clean sound from these speakers. I have them located 7' above the floor angled down to ear height at the listening positions.
11 + 2 = 13. Adding these Klipsch gave me a total of 13 speakers to my system. After checking many reviews, felt I didn't really need the newest to round out my system. And I was right on. As surrounds, they made my ears quite happy. Running room equalization took everything to a new level.
Incredible sound I had the r14s before and now big difference along with my center 504c sounds great
A great addition to my surround sound system. The pair of drivers in each speaker disperses the music into areas of the room that were previously dissipated. I replaced a pair of Boston Acoustics and I'm ecstatic with the results.
Added the Klipsch 502’s to our theater/music room recently. Moved into a new house, and ended up having seating against back wall. Reset the room with these bi/directional speakers to the layout and love the improvement over the bookshelves originally in the configuration.
Used these to augment an older/discontinued Reference series set and they matched perfectly. They work very well as surround speakers in a room where the seating is all the way back and speakers have to be placed in front of the rear seats.
I use these for the rear surround. They work out perfectly because, though my back wall is close to our seating area it is hard to sometimes tell exactly where behind you the sound is coming from. The sound doesn't shoot right into the back of your head. For those of you who have a smaller space.
Excellent sounding and spreads the sound all over the room.

Exceptional sound!

Difficult to actually mount in a corner!
Bipole speaker. Good sound. I wanted them because the wall that I hung them on is right behind my listening position (so one side points at the listener). If I could have hung them several or more feet behind me, I would have chosen a directional speaker and pointed it at the listening position.
