This little binocular is excellent and for the money it's a great value. Excellent image quality and ergonomics. Views are sharp with hardly any chromatic aberration. Adjustable eyecups allow appropriate eye relief whether wearing glasses or not. I don't use the objective and eyepiece caps.
I purchased these binoculars for birding use. The reason I was looking at a compact or pocket sized binocular is that I wanted something to carry when traveling. I carry an Olympus m4/3 camera to photograph birds and I did not want to add a lot of size and weight to my camera bag.
They are a very convenient size. For the price range they are clear, sharp and gather light well.
Excellent small binocular.I got 3 another binoculars for birding but all heavy for everyday to carry. So , wanted to try pocket mini size and always keen to have Kowa ( my another binoculars are Nikon Monarch and Votex.
These binoculars suit my varied interests perfectly. The image is sharp and crisp, though the field of view isn't as wide as my regular binoculars ( x )...however it's for travelling light that I need them. Sturdily built, pocketable, lightweight.
So happy with these. Fantastic optics for the price, very bright and clear. So good to hold in the hands and focus wheel a dream. My first pair of compacts and I was unsure at first but these are brilliant light and robust.I use for birdwatching while travelling.
Good Points: Great lightweight binoculars to use any time when you don't want to lug heavy ones around.
Good Points: Lightweight!Improvement Points: Difficult to understand the instructions for putting on the strap.
Good Points: Compact with a great build qualityLovely bright optics ,couldn't be happier.Improvement Points: A rainguard and flip down lenses covers would be a nice touch.
Good Points: Good, solid build, feels a real quality optic.Excellent eye relief, I have no problems using them with glasses. The colours are true, with no colour casting, and chromatic aberrations are virtually non-existent.
