Bought for my mother in law so most features will never be used. She needed a tv that would fit in her 43" old tv hutch. The tv is great. Easy set up. Menus were snappy. Remote feels good. Picture great. Best sound from any new tv I've ever heard. Sounds like a built in decent sound bar.
tv great. smart remote takes 2 to 3 button actions to do what you want, closed caption, channel guide etc. smart eye hard to control all over the place. delicate, eye pointed directly toward screen remotes pointed 2 to 4 feet off to side of tv or pointed towards ceiling.
Just incredible. Picture is mind blowing from every angle. So realistic I have to look away from modern hi-res gore. Smart TV apps are responsive and excellent. The built-in speakers are better than I expected. Settings menus are meh but not much worse than other brands.
I got this to use as a 4k monitor for work. Switching to OLED is amazing. Unless you have a really deep desk you're not going to want anything bigger than a 48" since that's equivalent to 4 24" 1080p monitors. I still marvel at the blacks on this regularly.
We upgraded a 14 year 48” LG 1080p LCD TV for the 48” OLED and let me tell you what, the picture quality is AWESOME! We immediately hooked it up to a new 4k roku and soundbar with atmos so I can’t really comment on quality for factory sound or interface on streaming.
Do not buy LG OLED. Unreliable. Black screened in less than 60 days of use.
Absolutely Gorgeous OLED TV!! Extremely Impressed With The Quality Of This LG OLED Television!!! LG Invented The OLED Technology And To My Surprise Most ALL Other Companies Buy LG Screens For Their TV's... True Statement!! Yes, Only 60ghz Refresh Rate But That Is Only Noticed For Playing Games!!
Bueno
The LG OLED 48" TV worked beautifully for the first 5 hrs then went black. We let the TV accumulate for 48+ hrs prior to turning it on. 5 hrs. later, nothing. Tried all googled suggestions from the manufacturer. Nothing worked. Result following all tried recommendations was seek "professional help.
I had a bad feeling when the TV arrived in a beat up box, although with no physical damage to the TV itself. I set up the unit very carefully since the screen is so thin. I plugged it in and was excited to enjoy the beautiful OLED picture quality I heard all about. Nothing.
