LG B6P-Series 65"-Class UHD Smart OLED TV

LG's high-end 2016 OLED TVs deliver the best picture quality of any TV we've ever reviewed, and the B6 is the best value of the bunch.

  The LG B6 outperforms every other TV we've tested, with the exception of even more-expensive 2016 OLED TVs, which perform about the same. It evinced perfect black levels, wide viewing angles, accurate color and a brighter picture than last year.

  It's expensive.

I upgraded from a 60" LG Plasma TV to this OLED TV. I opted for the lower cost version, because the video is the same for all of the LG OLED models, and since I already use an AVR to send audio out to separate speakers and subwoofer. My input source is a Tivo Bolt which does full frame rate 4K.

I have had the TV for about a month now and am still amazed at the picture quality. I find myself having to go back and re watch movies. My movie server has always had the capability of putting out a 4k signal and once it saw the connection capability it automatically converted.

  Performance

The TV is excellent. The magic remote is a bit of a pain, but still interesting. I haven't used it as a web surfing device or hooked up a keyboard, however. LG dropped the price after I bought the TV and Abt did refund the difference to me. That's great.
