The LG OLED55C7V delivers some of the best picture quality you’ll see all year.

Infinite contrast thanks to true blacks, Wide viewing angles, Rich, natural colours, Superb gaming responsiveness

Trouble handling interlaced video, Less bright than high-end LED LCDs for HDR
LG says this C7 performs exactly like the B7, and we agree. We experience almost no differences in the picture quality, and those we do notice (a very slightly warmer image on the B7) are ever so slight. So if the C7 is the same as the B7, it gets the same score – a full five stars.

Awesome OLED picture quality, with added brightness, Natural picture, Supports all HDR formats, Neat, unfussy design, Great for gaming

The Sony A1 is a punchier performer
Delivering exceptional contrast, vibrant colours and superb gaming responsiveness, the LG OLED55C7V will likely end up being one of the best televisions you can buy in 2017. That it’s the most affordable 2017 OLED TV this year to offer multi-HDR support (HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision, plus Technicolor...
The LG C7 is the best overall TV we've ever tested, but patient shoppers are likely to be rewarded by price drops in the coming months.

The LG C7 is the best-performing TV we've tested to date. It delivers perfect black levels, wide viewing angles, accurate color and a great bright-room picture. It's compatible with both major HDR formats, and HDR image quality is better than last year.

It's really expensive, and prices are likely to drop. Other 2017 TVs we haven't yet reviewed might perform even better.
LG's OLEDs are getting better, but will the price ever come down?
Replaced a smaller 10 year old Samsung that I thought still had a great picture until I saw the OLED! If you are sitting on the fence about buying this tv, just go for it! You won't be sorry!

Can't stop watching!
Visually stunning after making the jump from a 10 year old Panasonic plasma. The only downside is that it now shows the flaws in lesser quality programming with greater detail (ie file grain).

Getting used to all the picture settings and paying a premium for the OLED technology.
Absolutely awesome picture! Replaced a ten year old large screen TV; so much difference in picture quality. Much learning to do to operate remote.

The quality of the picture. Almost sets itself up.

Takes a long time to get used to the remote.
Outstanding picture. Well worth the wait and expense. Replaced a Samsung plasma that died after 3 years and spent the past year researching the various display technologies and brands. Glad I went with the LG. Movies and sports look great. Impressed by the vibrant colors.
