LG 8000 BTU Smart Wi-Fi Portable Air Conditioner

easy to set up but does not feel cold in any way. using it in a 300 sq ft room and i’m sweating every night. it actually feels colder outside. the dehumidifier isn’t that good. from what i have read portable acs just aren’t good. will sell this as i couldn’t take it anymore and bought a window unit.

Before I open it do you have to use the vent hoses for the windows or can you use it with out the hoses

Bought this for our second story bedroom. Always felt anxious about hanging an ac out the second story window. This floor unit cooled the bedroom (17x17) but was too loud for sleeping for us, moved it to the living room where the noise is more acceptable.

I’ve been using this Air conditioner just over a year now. Overall it’s been really great to be able to control the temperature of my house, by my phone, for my dog while I’m at work. It’s nice not needing to run the AC constantly when I leave, just when the temperature starts to get warm.

I bought this portable A/c unit for our office room, which we spend a great time of our day. This room is on the west side of the house and the furthest from the central air unit. Therefore, the afternoon Phoenix heat will heat this room as much as 10 degrees over the rest of the house.

With the humidity and hot weather we have been having, this floor ac at one end of my home and a small window ac in the bedroom at the other end of my 1,326 square foot home, has me covered. It’s a little pricey but well worth it for the efficiency and comfort.

So far is has worked good haven't had much chance to use due to cold weather

We previously purchased an LG Portable A/C a few years ago. When our older (non LG) portable A/C recently, it was a " no-brainer" for us to get our second LG Portable A/C. We have been VERY pleased with our new LG Portable A/C.

We received this as gift after I had a hip replacement.It made a big difference in comfort.

I purchased after our heat pump went out in the 119 degree Arizona heat wave. We installed in living room window until we were able to get a AC repair out. It took a couple of days, but this unit became a life changer. I'm 75 with major health problems.
