LG 36 Inch Freestanding Side by Side Refrigerator

This is a good-looking fridge, but we've seen side-by-side, door-in-a-door models that we like better.

  LG's Door-in-Door Side-by-Side refrigerator has an appealing minimalist design and a classy black stainless steel finish. It's one of the most affordable models with that finish, and one of the most affordable models with a Door-in-Door compartment, too.

  The design of that Door-in-Door compartment blocks off the in-door shelves on the inside of the fridge, making for irritating storage snafus. Performance also wasn't as sharp as we've seen with LG's non Door-in-Door models, or with similar models from competitors.

We went with the LG refrigerator because 3-4 years ago we purchased an LG washer and dryer from Home Depot. We have been so impressed with it's quality we decided to purchase the LG brand refrigerator. We love the door in door option.

I love the way the storage drawers are arranged and the storage in the door. This refrigerator is the same cubit foot as the one we replaced it with but we feel it is much larger.

I needed an energy efficient fridge and wanted to replace an old one that came with my home. This one fit the bill. The water and ice cubes come out very clean and the filtration system is excellent on it. It seems that it is helping with the electricity bill, but I havenu2019t had it for a month.

Very nice unit. The front door in door is great for condiments and drinks. Lots of space in both Refrigerator and freezer.

This is a great refrigerator. I love the outside/inside door feature. The ice maker has never run out of ice and it is very quiet. The vegetable drawers are large and slide easily.

Honestly, the door-in-door is what sold me on this style, it's an awesome feature (when I remember to use it - it takes some getting used to). The adjustable shelves sold me on this model. The model below this has fixed shelves.

Everything is excellent.

The order the set up crew did not the water line I purchased on it or show that the old refrigerator was to be moved. They did not have the paperwork for the five year warranty that. I purchased which I still have not received. The refrigerator is great.

Excellent refrigerator. We've had it for a couple weeks and absolutely love it.

I really liked this refrigerator when it was working but now that itu2019s not I want the world to know how crappy it is. Worthless after 16 months? My last fridge was 19 years old and still working, we just wanted an upgrade. Apparently not an upgrade at all!
