LG White 12,000 BTU Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner - Energy Star

This ac does what it is supposed to do but does something I find annoying. In energy saving mode the unit will shut down when the temp is reached. That's good. Less good is that the fan will turn on every 3 or so minutes to check the air. This creates unwanted noise.

This unit is fairly quiet and looks nice in the wall. We do not have a large home so it does not have to cover a large space but it does well cooling our first floor of about 700 sf. I love that it has a remote so we can access it from anywhere in the room.

We've had this unit for several months, and last month our old LG Thru-the-wall unit finally surrendered after 13 years. We installed the LT1216CER just before a long, intense hot spell covered our area. We knew of the LG quality and reliability, and this unit provides great cooling.

This AC unit cools off our living room pretty well. I was concerned it was going to be a bit loud due to some reviews, but I find it to be ok.

I wanted more features to pull the air from the outside to cool, but considering that avoiding this keeps allergens from entering the inside space and most recently smoke from the Canadian fires, I probably made the right choice.

Bought this and had it installed in the LR of our raised ranch. Works fantastic. cools the entire floor including DR and kitchen.

I bought this for my elderly parents. The a/c they had was old and stopped cooling the apartment. It never really worked great. That are so happy with this one. It reaches into the kitchen and all and they love the comfort of the remote control.

It is way too loud...I have 23 Kenmore 10K BTU Mdl 580 75 101 500 and I should have got another one...way better unit

After about a month of intermittent use, the unit is performing up to expectations. Of course the real test is longevity. It remains to be seen if it will still work next cooling season. I hope so.

I have a studio apartment of about 500 feet and this AC works great for me. It's much quieter than I expected, and 26 inch sleeve fits perfectly is. Great buy.
